Women lead very busy lives, we are always pulled in so many directions. Life seems so hectic. I heard a sermon one day and the speaker asked “How’s Your Clutter?” I thought what he is talking about?
He instructed us to go home and look at our closets. He said that It could be a reflection our lives. I did just that and noticed everything was in disarray. The instruction was to put our closets in order. The speaker suggested this action could lead to a more structured life. I thought sure, he is clueless. I put the idea to test. I started by sorting out the things I did not need. I began discarding old clothes. Some things were out of date, some were too small. The discard bags began to pile up. I did not realize how much I was storing in that closet. Could my life be this cluttered? The next step was for my closet was to put things in order. I lined up the skirts and hung them in one area, the slacks and dresses in another part of the closet. I put the shoes in racks and boxes. It was shaping up. I then was able to take inventory of all I had. I was truly amazed at the amount of clothes, shoes and accessories I owned. The speaker was right putting my closet in order helped with my life. Just as in the closet I can clear the clutter out of my life and put those old things and habits in the garbage. By putting things into order I was then able to realize the many blessings that I have. Just imagine all from cleaning a closet. So again I ask “How’s Your Clutter”?

Embracing Change.

We are on the brink of change; it is taking place all around us. Day by day, moment by moment change is occurring, whether we like it or not. Change is viewed in many ways outwardly but I believe that true change begins within before we ever see the visible signs of an outward manifestation. Two such changes are in fact directly upon us; the first was accomplished years prior to this writing, though the annual recognition is tomorrow and the second has been a long time coming.

Ready for the NEW in 2009

Networking is on the top of my list for 2009. I have vowed to come out of my shell socially and meet and greet in person in an attempt to get the message out there and balance the networking done via the internet by interacting and networking in-state(s) as well.
