I read some of the work on your blog and think that you have the heart and soulful writing that Chicken Soup looks for in their stories. One thing that I think helped me a lot was the fact that I love to edit. Never think of a story finished the first time you write it. There's always plenty of extra words that can be eliminated or sentences to restructure for a better flow. If editing is not your thing, perhaps you can find someone who will go over one of your stories and do that for you.

I haven't submitted stories in awhile, but go to www.chickensoup.com and check out their "Call for Stories" link and see what upcoming versions they may have coming out. Each one takes about three years to publish, so don't be discouraged! Also, I have an online friend who sends out inspiration stories that her readers submit and she teaches some writing courses. Check out www.2theheart.com.

I hope that helps. The Internet has opened up a lot of doors for opportunity, and I'm looking forward to seeing one of your stories in print.
